The Dukes of Uke - Themeless and Seamless
Wednesday 25th October and Saturday 4th November 2023
at 7.30 PM
in the Corn Exchange, Biggar
The Dukes of Uke return with a new show, which is unburdened by a theme, so anything goes. They will simply be playing songs they enjoy and love to perform.
It is also ‘seamless’ which, according to the thesaurus, means logical, smooth, coherent, consistent, ordered, flawless, harmonious, ideal, uninterrupted. These are all adjectives which have never before been used to describe a Dukes of Uke show! One thing’s for sure, the Dukes of Uke will not be singing any ‘themeless songs’ in ‘seamless thongs’ Or will they......?

Tickets for The Dukes of Uke Spring show, entitled A Four String Spring Thing, are available from Thursday 3rd February.

Ian will be running a Ukulele Workshop on Saturday 19th March at 1.30 in the Elphinstone Hotel and tickets for this, priced at £15 (including the songbook) are available from the same sources.

Spring is in the air and it is time for the Dukes of Uke to Spring into action. What Springs to mind when you think of a Dukes of Uke concert? Does it bring a Spring to your step? Does it induce Spring fever? Well, we may not be Spring chickens, but we are full of the joys of Spring and ready to Spring to life, Spring clean our ukuleles and Spring our new show on our loyal audiences.

We are currently planning to perform 3 shows in the Corn Exchange in October 2021.
The theme is not yet set in stone, but we do know the show will be full of positivity, fun and happiness.

​There is a "Contact Us" form on the Contacts page, please use it to add yourself to our mailing list so that you will be amongst the first to hear about upcoming shows.
We are selling Ian's songbooks on the website. There are a few to choose from including a Christmas special and Ian's very own Tab Songbook. These make excellent presents.....
We are now selling our show tickets through Eventbrite. We have had to add a small fee for online sales  processing and administration but have kept this to a minimum.
We look forward to seeing you at one of our shows on 14th and 15th March, our website has all the details.
